About me

My love for miniature things began when I was a child. My grandparents commissioned and imported beautiful hand-made wooden toys and ornaments. In the living room, these things were placed on the higher shelves, far out of reach of little hands. I remember being so excited when I was finally tall enough to properly inspect the fine details of the craftmanship.

a little perspective was born during my maternity leave with my first child. Prior to children I was a freelance architectural photographer but ad hoc childcare was hard to come by. Whilst I loved those days, I wanted to readapt to the juggle of family life and work. I longed for creativity and a little perspective was born.

I'd seen many miniature figures being used in architectural models, and always felt their intricate details were wasted in a boardroom meeting. So, using photos I'd taken over the years I created scenes, and the rest, as they say, is history!
